Where can I find a DOI? In most scholarly journal articles, the DOI or Digital Object Identifier will be printed with the article itself, usually on the first page somewhere: below the title or in the header or footer. Example of a DOI: https://doi.org/10.1136/bmjqs-2022-015573
Where can I find a PMID? PMID is the unique number assigned to all records in PubMed. The PMID number is normally located at the bottom left of the record. Example of a PMID: 25435309
