A national interest group formed to foster the development of the study of aphasia. British Voice Association Charity providing support and information to people with voice problems, and to professionals working with these individuals, including speech and language therapists, singers, voice teachers, laryngologists and acousticians. National Institute of Neurological Disorders and Stroke - Aphasia Section of the National Institute of Neurological Disorders and Stroke providing information about aphasia. Includes links to other organisations in the US with an interest in this condition. British Stammering Association A national organization for adults and children who stammer. It offers help and advice to both adults and children who stammer and those who support them. |
Royal College of Speech and Language Therapists
The professional body for speech and language therapists and support workers. It promotes excellence in practice and influences health, education and social care policies. Stroke Association A UK wide charity which funds research into prevention, treatment and better methods of rehabilitation and helps stroke patients and their families directly through its Rehabilitation and Support Services. |
