What is a Evidence Librarian Service?

A clinical librarian service responds to information needs within the organization. This can involve any of the following activities:
  • Attending ward rounds or clinics to provide best evidence to support patient care
  • Facilitating journal clubs
  • Conducting literature searches and systematic reviews
  • Finding evidence for quality improvement projects/audits
  • Creating/updating guidelines and patient information
  • Supporting business cases through the latest information

  • Literature searching
  • Critical Appraisal
  • Medical statistics introduction
